Even if you've killed somebody for no real good reason (defending your family from a maniac when there's no other choice, or being drafted to war and forced to kill), the amount of suffering that you will go through as a result is worse than any death imaginable.

Even if you poison somebody with aids on purpose, you'll create a karma so intense that you'll be suffering for millenia afterwards.

BTW The very fact that you're suffering now IS your karma - plenty of people who are happy and blissed out are on earth at this moment, and you're having none of it due to your actions (i.e., karma).

Sometimes you can die an unfortunate death and wait many many human years before you can reincarnate on Earth again to suffer the consequences - so you go to hell and then come to to hell on earth.

I’m from a Catholic/Protestant Christian background. I am not really religious myself. I do believe in God and do go to church sometimes but I don’t really believe in organized religion which I think is more about manipulation and control and money than true spirituality.
