water weight is really weird, but there will be days where I don't drink that much water and days that I do. you also have to consider the water content of food. hormones that hold/release water can change in as little as a few hours if you look into the science of weight cutting for say combat sports.
But for me creatine, when I took 3-5g every other day, it was never really any more than a few lbs.
