French bread would go great. I had bread dough in the house so I fried up a couple loaves.

Here's how I made it if anyone wants to try. Go nuts and do you're own thing.

1 ½ 2 lbs ground beef (brown on stovetop and throw in crockpot)
2 small packages of diced bacon
7 peeled and cut potatoes (I used yellow but use what you like)
3-4 diced carrots
4 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups milk
4 oz cream cheese
½ small container of sour cream
3 cups shredded cheddar (Throw in last 2 hrs of cooking)
4 tablespoons of butter
Seasonings (I don’t measure)
Salt
Pepper
Onion powder
Basil (dried)
Parsley (dried)
Cook on high for 3 hrs, finish for 2 hrs on low

Just made a cheeseburger with mashed potatoes and yams. My mashed potatoes are super delicious. Sucking on German white chocolate while enjoying coffee and listening to the cars wreck

I have a bias because I have nostalgia for cheeseburger soup. They use to serve it to us in elementary school cafeteria. The only cheeseburger ingredients are the cheese and ground beef, but everything else is basically like a cheesy potato soup OR you can skip potatoes and serve it over rice OR use dumplings. There's so many ways to make it, and yes its phuckin' amazing.

a better way to explain it is, its basically the ingredients to a pot-pie or a shepards pie, but in soup form. If you still find that "gross" I don't know what to tell you. I'm lactose in tolerant and I STILL ate it despite the risks of explosive diarrhea a couple hours later, and everytime it was totally worth it.
