Uh it has been in the news...I'm not really on social media, but I bet a bunch of people in the U.S. and the West have tossed their "Thoughts and Prayers for Turkey" for internet points and likes, and then moved on about their day.

It's sad and sucks what happened, but no one really cares til bad chit happens where they're at. That's just life mane. Same with Ukraine lol the people that stand with Ukraine on social media with the Ukrainian flag...Do you really think if they got offered a chance to go fight for Ukraine they would say yes? Lol
