whatever your rock bottom is, when it is reached, the change will arise. it is a cycle. you will reach a depression that addiction can no longer subdue. this is where your opportunity begins.

consider putting a golf ball up a hill, onto a tiny platform with a hole.

at first, the ball has great momentum towards the objective. then comes the hill. progress towards the objective is no longer so easy. some will relapse here and fall down the hill, rapidly moving in the opposite direction until reaching rock bottom again. some will swing too hard and rocket up the hill with such force, only to hit the backboard and fall back down to the start.

start by setting goals and writing them down

Yeah bro flirting with rock bottom tbh...woulda been much better off if I did this at 23. But thank god for being 30. At least I've accumulated enough relationships that'll keep me afloat for 3-4yrs. Enough right conversations that keep me from goin left nomsayin.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.
