My base is $112k, but I get bonuses + OT + shift differentials, so this year is likely closer to $150k-160k srs in a zero income taxes state/city. I'm 27, turning 28 this year. I don't have a reason to lie, I have anonymity and a desire to help and learn from others. There are people who claim $200k-350k, maybe they're liars or not, IDK. If I make a post or thread about income, I'd rather it be at least close to the truth, to get honest insight or ideas from others. I know people making less than $50k/yr in their 30s, and some who clear $300k+ in their 20's... if I were lying I'd probably say I was a $200k+ Andie.

Ive posted proof I am ATC already on this board boyo.. you know this. As a government agency we have posted salaries per facility, it's no secret what we make as a base pay

I care to explain ATC things, cause alot of people are unaware or frankly flat out wrong about the career

The $$ is a great way to get people invested and into it, and I need all the extra bodies I can get at my facility in order to move up in seniority and to get longer/more breaks.

I didn't ask him to tell me any of this, I think he felt need to tell me that he too had a home worth north of a million (not only that but his was multimillion).

If you were taking home around 2.5M per year, would you be doing tile work yourself or even showing up to job sites for small punch list repairs?

You never know. I remember when I worked customer tech support for a cable company a guy called to complain about his PPV not working. He didn't tell me he was a billionaire or anything, he was very cordial and pleasant. I looked up his address to schedule a tech to come out and it was 20 million dollar mansion. I got curious and looked up his name, dude was worth like $14 billion dollars.

I also do small jobs for the business I own as well as on my day job. I don't tell any clients or customers how much I make though.

Plenty of frauders on here, but also plenty of hard workers. Lifters have the discipline to consistently work out every day or two, which translates into other areas of their life. It doesn't surprise me to see people making 6 figures and some multiple 6 figures.

Me, I'm just a worker drone, been showing up for the past 15 years and invested that money into houses. At 43, I have a very nice house in a quiet, safe neighborhood, near the top of a mountain for my family to enjoy.

I only hit 6 figures a handful of times with OT, but this year will hit 6 figures with normal salary + employer retirement contributions.

Not even Tradie status, but made it work for us.

That's not hard to believe at all. My wife's uncle is a maintenance tech for NYC and his base is $108k per year.

There money is there for those who are willing to put in the work. If they would just stop crying long enough to stop fisting themselves they would be able to see this.

It’s not even that hard of a job, probably 60% of the time I just sit on site incase there are and breakdowns/issues. But when things break it’s a scramble to get them up and running again.
The company im with also gives me some nice incentives above and beyond my pay like a company truck and fuel card and a credit card for any work clothes/tools/gear I need.

It’s really a shame that more young people don’t research the trades.
