In 2022 it averaged a little more than once a week, which is normal for married people especially with kids depending on age.

Scary stat is about 30% of married couples have a dead bedroom, which is sex less than 10x per YEAR. And I can relate, because that's what my marriage was like.

It's not always the guy being rejected that leads to the lower amount of sex, but sometimes just losing excitement.

I could have sex 3-5 days a week if it was that new and exciting feeling. When i was in a relationship with the same girl for 4 years, the latter half of the relationship i was content with just once or twice a week. I dont know how people keep it exciting. role play, different positions, different styles only does so much. Nothing provides the excitement that just a new girl does.

On the flip side, sex isn't the end all be all of life. I often think it consumes too much of my thoughts when im single. It was kind of nice in a relationship to not have it be such a sole focus of my thoughts.

I'm gone two days a week for work.

Still have sex at least 3 times weekly. Most of the time it's 4.

They've probably got kids. We just had our first little guy last July, and yeah it impedes on your sex life quite a bit, and will only get worse once they get older and you have more kids. We usually have sex 2-3 times a week still, depending on the week. Some days you're just fukking exhausted and all you want to do is sleep when it's time to go to bed.

This is some real advice. If you wait until the end of the day it’ll feel more like a chore for both parties. Once you’ve been with a woman for 20+ years, sex isn’t as much of a deal either. It’s still important to keep that fire going and if you quit it can ruin a good marriage all by itself but it’s not the same in your 40’s as it was in your 20’s or even 30’s for most.

One of the big things is be a man about it. Don’t turn into some beta who ask or beats around the bush. If you’re horny, you take that chit. Then and there if possible. If you are a dominant male she’ll know if she turns you down, it won’t take long for you to find someone who won’t. If she’s turning you down often (aside from obvious reasons) you probably aren’t hitting it right. She should know that even if she isn’t 100% for it atm that she’ll change her tune in a few mins when you have her speaking dolphin.
