You are overestimating this idea of 'white flight' for so many reasons. Let me help.

First off, I don't think most Americans understand just how poorly the US looks right now on the international stage. Whenever I talk to anyone outside of the US it's either Trump/Biden, guns, or fast food/obesity. How does that look good and why would any country want that?

Those smart enough to get out and try to escape clown world have so many hoops to deal with that the majority of Americans probably wouldn't quality for living abroad long term. That includes passing a background check. Countries are very selective in who they let in for any extended period of time. Even a misdemeanor can disqualify anyone being granted a visa. More than half of the population in America has some sort of criminal record. So that kicks out like 75% of applicants. Also, if other countries started to let in tons of Americans, they would be subjective to Americans bringing all of their LGTBQIA+, we want guns and freedom, and I have a criminal record. Many countries don't want that. Most Americans would rather endure clown world than give up their rights to having their guns. So again, that cancels out a lot of people.

Education: The rates at which people are going to college is dropping. Everyone is either on some form of government assistance or is trying to be e-famous. Being e-famous doesn't count as an actual job. Countries want people who can contribute to their society in a positive way. The international standard to work in most any country is to have a 4 year degree unless you plan on doing volunteer work. And again, being an influencer doesn't count. So again, that wipes out a huge portion of applicants.

So in reality, the amount of people who probably qualify for your idea of 'white flight' would probably be about 10% of the total US population and most of those people are either at their end of their careers or already retired. Anyone under 30 these days has very little chance of actually qualifying for moving and living abroad in any long term capacity.
