Hnnngh. Can I use a single sword or is using both recommended for more dps?

I made my Zyzz character months ago so can't wait to start. Looks exactly like Zeezbrah srs lol.

I'm gonna be straight up muzzin on these demons. Also when you guys talk about summons, you mean summoning other players from online to help with fights? That's straight up ghey.

Or does the game allow you to summon AI creatures to help fight? That would be fuking sick.

Spirit ashes and summons are 2 different things. Spirit ashes are kind of like companions you can bring out to help in certain areas. Most boss fights and unusually tough spots with lots of enemies. It can make boss fights pretty trivial if you max out certain ashes like dung eater, mimic, or the black knife assassins. But for clearing chaff out of densely populated areas they're nice.

Summons in the game let you do co-op or pvp if you choose.

There are also a lot of different NPCs you can summon as part of their quest line. Most of these don't really help very much and if you use an NPC summon on a boss the boss does get buffed pretty considerably. These really just add a little flavor to the fight and flesh out their storyline. Some are even mandatory like the hunter Yura, your mission is to help him defeat some evil NPC invaders.

I'm hard

So basically it has all the common souls summons (npc+online humans) but also temporary magical beasts you can summon as part of your kit. Dang son.

Yeah you can pick 2 fanged imps as your starting kit and they are really strong summons. Way better than anything you can find for a long time. They're immune to a lot of damage types, pretty well armored, attack fast, and help stack bleed.

Granted if you know what you're doing you can just run and get them but they are a decent way into the game if you don't spoil it.

edit: used a swordstone key 5 mins into the game and died by one of the chariots , realized how much i hate that area
