Sorry, but ChatGPT said it's absolutely real and with some of the snippets I've seen and read about people asking various questions about stuff that is super hush hush and it gives super logical answers that make sense, I'm inclined to believe it. there military tech from the 60s and 70s we have that other countries cannot replicate easily (outside Soviets).
not too hard to imagine china still having issues getting their tech in order. a lot of it is just having the right infrastracture in place (not necessarily the "tech").
moon program took a massive amount of people for building enormous rockets that needed to be moved after construction, a proper training program, flight and launch procedures etc. it was an enormous undertaking of resources, materials, and manpower that is very hard for any country to just put together.

If the astronauts were CIA agents they would be like actors and have pretended everything was great. However, they looked shocked, disappointed, and as if they were made to lie.
Later, they didn't become national heroes and just kind of disappeared, meanwhile, going to the moon is literally more of an achievement than 99% of events in the last 24 million years lol.
So, the press conference looks like the astronauts did SOMETHING but NASA faked what we saw on TV and heard about, the astronauts found out, and it ruined what they actually did.
I posted this before, but Joe Rogan showed live feed footage of them walking on the moon. One guy trips and he is pulled up off the ground, he doesn't get up, he's pulled up.
So, I think Armstrong, etc went to the moon, but maybe didn't get out of the craft. So, that would be like going to the bottom of the ocean in a craft, but you can't really get out. However, NASA faked the TV footage, pictures, etc.
The astronauts came back and found out their achievement was turned into a fraud and didn't know how to handle it.
