****ing lmao

A 36 year old data engineer? Dude should be clearing 150k salary at his age, and that’s being on the conservative side, and the retard still has 60k outstanding in car loans? Who knows what the rest of their budget looks like

And don’t use kids as an excuse. What an idiot. He should have enough at this point to pay that new car cash

Wrong retard. A 10 year old Camry , Civic, or Corolla will do just fine there. You don’t need a 60k vehicle under any circumstance

When I was in Miami I drove through a neighbourhood and there were terrible looking trash houses with 60k vehicles parked in front. 19 year olds driving ramped up SUVs and sports cars everywhere. I can imagine the repo places are just salivating.

Zero percent interest was the only reason I bought my vehicle new.

Do you drive a Ford F250 or GMC/Chevrolet/RAM 2500 class truck or bigger? If not you're going to get completely mogged in head on collisions. A 10K 10 year old car really aint got much on a 100K 1 year old car in terms of surviving bad crashes.

If being safe and surviving crashes are your priority the only sensical vehicle is a 3/4 ton Truck or greater.

The Last time I financed a car was because I was a kid with less than 2 years driving experience and my dad cosigned to help me build my credit. I've literally bought all cars with a cashier's check 100% paid for ever since then.
I also sell all my cars private party instead of trading them in to the Stealership.
The great thing about buying cars that are 5 years old is that there is REAL WORLD DEATH RATE DATA on those cars.
When you buy a brand new car you don't know if you're getting a death proof car or a death trap.
Crash test data only tells you so much. There is NO replacement for real world death rates of cars.
