As others said, you can improve the situation with more fat in your macros split
But you're gonna feel like chit if you're cutting hard. If you're not in such a hurry to lose weight, maybe also up your calories to improve QoL

Obviously it wouldn't be permanent but it does last at least a few days. I don't know if the same rebound effect is true for just calorie restriction, as fasting is much more extreme to the body than calorie restriction so the rebound upon ending calorie restriction is likely lower.Whats the mechanism behind this? Because of a period of time of low T or because of low body fat %?
Lower bodyfat especially in the midsection will lead to higher T levels but that of course takes longer, and all other things being equal should be relatively permanent (of course lower with age).

Happens to the best of us. If you care about having a good sex life, so if you have a girlfriend/wife or someone you want to keep around, then going for abs is really not a good idea IMO. At least for the vast majority of men who dont have the genetics to keep a low bf% and still feel pretty good.
Aim for 12-16% and stay there. Even if you are there, a big deficit can screw your libido up so maybe just get to a leannish bf% then maintain from there and see how you feel.
tl;dr: the more shredded a guy is the less good at sex srs. (no homo)

"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

I like the part where he talks about how important the breaking a several day fast is, which you don't want to do with tons of sugar. Hell that can be dangerous.
With calorie restriction, keep it low carb. That gets to be a long discussion on why.

I've been cutting for a few months and haven't had that issue. I think the recommendation to get more fats, particularly animal fats, is a good one. I've been eating a lot of ground bison, steak, chicken, etc., with veggies on the side. Minimal carbs most days with an occasional higher carb (maybe 100g) day. A lot of days my macros are ~150-190g of protein, 50-80g of fat (mostly from meat), and <30g of carbs. Feeling great overall.

after years and years of lifting and many cutting cycles, I've come to accept that this is just a part of cutting. the only way around it is to never get fat enough to need to aggressively cut for long periods of time.
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2
Weight: 180 lbs.
Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.
