The law is based on the religion and we don't divide state and religion. You are mainly speaking about Saudi Arabia and maybe Iran. If we believe that Islam is the only right religion and you want to come, then follow the law (just like any other country). Otherwise, don't come. No one is asking you to come to the lands because we are happy with our religion here.
I think firstly...why are you worried about Muslim lands and not your own home? Why not start in Maryland firstly and your country of America if you are truly worried about preaching the Gospel. If you are that concerned about the laws in Muslim lands, should you not have even more concern for your fellow American?

Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

Sooby, I understand what your saying. The claim was that Muslims don't have a problem with Christians. I'm interested in pursuing whether that claim is true, because it seems from my limited vantage point to be questionable. Your own post indicates that Muslims do, in fact have a problem with Christians. Christians are mandated by God to go into all the world and make disciples of all people, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. It's what Christians call "The Great Commission". It is not possible to be a faithful, obedient Christian and to not attempt to convert unbelievers.
So I get that Islamic countries don't want Christianity taught. But then it is true that Islam, at least how it is understood and practiced in those countries, does have a problem with Christianity.

I'm concerned, out of great love, for all people everywhere who worship false gods and are destined for eternal judgment. I care for people here in the US, for you, and for people everywhere.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by him.
He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I'm happy you're concerned but that doesn't make it true. With that statement, I wonder how Abraham was saved because Jesus in his humanity came way wayyyy after.

The Bible answers your question about Abraham several times. Romans 4, Galatians 3, and Hebrews 11 come to mind. In summary, Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. And Romans 6:10 states that Christ died once for all.

If Christians are mandated to go out into the world and spread their religion to non-Christians, there are ways around that. You can simply travel to a different country and spread it there where it is allowed. There is the internet and social media (not sure how Muslim countries regulate that as it probably varies), etc. You can easily spread it that way.Sooby, I understand what your saying. I think personally though Christians should focus on strengthening the beliefs of those who are already Christians, or have been born into Christian families but have lost their way or not very practicing. Build a strong foundation before trying to convert other people.
I will say in reality though, Christians aren't always the most protected, say in countries such as Egypt.

The reason saudis decided to ally with us was our countries conservative morals under Reagan.
The reason they are with China and Russia now is because of our extreme degeneracy that would have been rejected by previous Christian guided america.
Dead srs.
