It lays out a population prioritization, which has been updated since the virus and vaccines have been available for a couple years now.

In my opinion, it's not the "vaccines are bad" statement some folks are longing to hear.

It would be earth shattering if the WHO said the "Covid vaccines are bad." To no surprise they're placing them below getting a flu shot, for obvious reasons. Flu can actually be dangerous to people under age 70.

I'm not sure to whom "we" refers, but covid has been demonstrated to have numerous negative health effects other than mortality.

The WHO not recommending them happened less than a week ago. I'm not surprised the CDC hasn't backed down yet considering how staunchly they and their current director pushed them for kids. As far as I know the US is the only country that recommended them for kids as young as 6 months old, while most of the rest of the world stopped recommending them for healthy people either under age 30 or 50. I know our pediatrician has recommended against healthy kids getting the common cold shot for at least a year now.

The FDA in the US also hasn't banned lots of food additives most of the first world has, additives strongly linked to cause cancer. Fuark, we can't have Skittles being slightly less bright or store bought cake mixes being good for less than 5 years, bro. The US govt also says Lucky Charms are healthier than a steak.
