Individual FBI agents are bad guys per say. I'd say 95% of them have the right intentions/motivations. Most of them are actually doing their jobs spread across the country. Its the ones in/around DC that are basically primarily focused on politically motivated investigations.



Imagine if when Trump was in office he'd have put 'yes men' in charge of the FBI and basically had constant investigations/indictments on his political opponents. I know Hillary getting indicted was a meme he spouted. But imagine if he specifically targeted Democratic candidates/opponents?

The constitutional authority for having an FBI at all is pretty dubious. General police power resides with the states. There is nothing inconsistent about wanting well-funded local cops but doing away with a federal agency that is perhaps not even consistent with the Constitution.
