Marx came up with these ideas in the 1800s.

He published his works around 1848, so that means he was thinking and working on them in the beginning of the 1800s. So, the goal was not to "destroy America" because the US was a rural under developed place at that time.

That was so stupid when she said that.

You can't be trained to be a Marxist.

Marx said that communism would evolve due to increased education and understanding.

How is having no government and going back to cooperative workers working together equal slavery?

How can you have a "Marxist agenda" after what I wrote?

Back when there were kings they said that god made them kings, and do you believe that?

In Christianity, it says that you can't even think bad thoughts about people and you aren't allowed kill anyone. You aren't supposed to have money either, Jesus says all of that. Meanwhile, many countries use Christianity to wage wars and explain why there's rich people.

Do you believe that this is the real goal of Christianity and Jesus was wrong?

Could it be possible that evil people will use the facade of goodness to sell their evil agenda?

Marxism means a lot of things to a lot of people. But at its essence, a Marxist perspective is one concerned with who gains power and who is oppressed. For example, a Marxist perspective in IR conflicts would be concerned with who tangibly gains resources in the war. Most Americans have no clue what Marxism, Marxism-Leninism, Stalinism, Maoism, and modern Chinese Communism are. Contrary to what many Americans think, there is an entire field of Marxist economics, and modern versions of Marxism can even include market structures, as we see in China.

Equal outcomes is not a tenet of Marxism, nor of communist leaders. Every communist country still has some notion of meritocracy. In fact, China is more meritocratic than America. In America, you have people getting rich for being rich or posting ass pics. Our country's powerful are popular socialites. China is run by mostly engineers who did well in school and were also savvy enough to survive purges and rise to the top of the hierarchy - a hierarchy of over a billion people. Every single Chinese politician is perhaps hundreds of times more competent than your average American one.

It's amusing to see Americans speak of meritocracy when most cannot even solve basic physics problems. They are all idiots drunk on their power and wealth that they inherited from the prior generation's hard work and effort in science, technology, business, strategy, and warfare. But not for long. You will all lose.

It's not Marxism, which is what the thread is about.

We do not have what Marx said and we are supposed to be evolving toward what Marx said, you can't force it.

IDK why people act like Marx was some prophet. Marxism has been repeatedly modified, starting with Leninism and ending with the current CCP.

In my OP I explained that Marx predicted a return to tribal cooperative society, but with modern technology.

https://www.achieveriasclasses.com/m...s-to-remember/

This briefly explains it.

As I have been saying, no one can MAKE this evolution happen, people have to believe it's a good idea.

All "Communist" governments have been fake. You can't pass laws or have government to FORCE....COOPERATION.

It's the same principle as the Catholic Church wages wars....your can't be Christian and do that, so automatically the church was invalidated as "Christian" by those acts. Just the same, you can't force communism to happen, so those governments were facades. The Catholic Church was a facade for greedy warmongers.

Sociopathic leaders lie about why they are leading.

What hasn’t been modified? Christianity and Islam have countless denominations. Capitalism has different branch-offs. Etc. Marx/Engels are important because of the modern origins of Communism, not because they are the final word on it.

Because they grew up hearing about Marx by media propagandists and then dumbass dinner table convos with dad.

It's the same as fake religious people talking about "Jesus" and they never bothered to read anything about it, they just repeat phrases they heard before.

Look at my post explaining what Marx said.

Marxism isn't a government----it's a prediction.

There can't be different versions of some guy's prediction.

Marxism was itself an iteration of previous socialists. All Marx did was take their inane bable about how socialism would make food fall from the skies for anyone that is hungry and give it a scientific format. "I did research by asking my friend Engles if capitalism is stupid and he says it is therefor socialism is a good idea".

Marx was an arrogant, stupid and mostly useless person that wrote a book about how life isn't fair so everything should be free and people that succeed owe something to people that are incompetent. There's a certain kind of person that finds that message very appealing and most of them would do the collective gene pool a huge favor by not procreating.

I don't agree with a lot of it, but I mean there's some common sense stuff Marx said that I like.

So like if you're going to get a job, something you hear a lot is that you want to get paid what you're worth. Marx basically said that's not really possible because if a company paid people what they're actually worth they wouldn't make any money. At that point you wouldn't have much of a company anymore. The whole point of a company is to literally capitalize off what's called surplus labor value, or, profits. So Marx argued that companies should be owned by the workers who do the work instead of like one boss/owner and that's one of the reasons.
No war but class war

Not literally, no, but that's the gist of the 'research' he did. Begging for money and writing books about how everything should be free is a weird kind of activism. I suppose you could say he was a man ahead of his time, the epitome of the modern liberal.

I actually know quite a lot about marx which is probably why you cant point to anything specific you disagree with.

In the time of children chimney sweeps the only laborer he ever found that was truly abused by their employer was his own maid
