I've never had a transformer or transformer apologist explain this to me. Their argument is that gender is a social construct and anyone can identify as anything. They claim that it's not a mental illness and it's not "being born in the wrong body". However, "gender affirming surgery" and "hormone replacement therapy" is a biological change. Remember when it was called a sex change? Gender is not even a real thing. Sex/gender used to be used interchangeably. Now they want you to believe that sex has nothing to do with gender and that transformers are not mentally ill but they will just do everything in their power to appear as the opposite sex but it's still nothing to do with sex it's all about affirming their gender identity. They are lying to avoid the mental illness accusations. Anyone with half a brain can see what's going on.
