It's time we start curbstomping people who push the climate change crap, COVID restrictions, transgendered movement, and gun control to name a few. The fewer retards advocating these things, the better. Government is not your friend.

On the whole climate change will be a small net negative. In 2100 it means GDP will be 4% lower than it otherwise would have been. Not 4% lower each year, not 4% lower each decade, 4% lower than it would have been in another 80 yrs. So we'll be something like 246% richer instead of 250% richer. The people making apocalyptic predictions not only have always been wrong and continue to be wrong, they will be wrong forever. Some coastal cities will eventually need some barriers and drainage engineered into them. Not a big deal.

I just read in the last day how concrete, which is responsible for 8% of GHG can have its emissions lowered by 15% by adding baking soda into it early in the process. That alone would do more than successfully convincing hundreds of millions of people to go vegetarian. Cow burps, which are the main source of their pollution have the methane they release cut in half by simple feed additives, which are being used now. They aren't widely used yet, but they will. If that gets to the point of half the cows on the planet getting the feed additive it would be the equivalent of removing many millions of cars off the road. Paint more roofs of buildings white to reflect the sun's radiation back off the planet instead of being absorbed. Uncomplicated, cheap solutions, and there are many more.

A report from several years ago revealed we have almost 8x as many trees on the planet as we previously thought. The importance of that can't be overstated. There is no climate apocalypse coming, and we can manage around it without psychopaths in government treating us like slaves. Oh, and let's not forget more nuclear power plants are mandatory. The latest ones are meltdown proof. And they don't have to cost a crazy amount, especially if the desire to build a lot of them is present, as they can be constructed modularly, which drastically cuts down their price per plant.

If you learn about the Earth, we have been in an ice age for many thousands of years. So, it's likely that we continue to come out of the ice age so formerly cold places are getting warmer.

When I was a kid in PA we had very intense winters typically starting in October, and now it's very warm up until December.

In Philly we used to have horrible snow and ice storms ten years ago and now we have two months of cool weather with no real winter.

So, I do believe the climate is changing but I don't think it's because of cars, etc but because the Earth is coming out of the ice age.

You can always tell when a topic is bull**** and here is how.

If a politician says that money and restrictions can fix it, its fake.

If it were a real actual issue, they would right away take measures to fix it and not bicker around with trying to sneak in taxes and fees and what not all the time.

Imagine if the plumbing went out in congress. Would they carry on about it and go back and forth and put port a potties in the rotunda and camp put in them and half the people would demand they stay or would they just call a plumber?

Same thing here.

Remember, if politicians actually fixed stuff, which they could easily do, we would no longer have any use for them. Not like we have much use for them now but you get the idea.

Now all the apocalyptic doomsdayers have to do is convince the Billions of poor people in China, India, Africa, and South America to stay poor. If they can't, the answers are innovation and technology that have nothing to do with solar and wind. Those are okay, but they're for now just ways for globalists to get rich off the government money thrown at them. EVs aren't a panacea either. They require an insane amount of mining, which is an environmental disaster itself. If transportation is to be focused on, electric semis, delivery vehicles, buses will do way more to curb greenhouse gases than individuals switching to Teslas. Besides, the future for a long while will be hybrid, not 100% EVs.

Its not bullsh*t

It's obviously real. Not joking.

The bullsh*t part is the world governments and companies working together to use climate change as an excuse to funnel vast sums of public middle/lower class dollars into the pockets of the 1% while doing NOTHING to quell the climate change.

That's the bullchitpart and in fact Is THE reason trump pulled out of that Paris accord. Because it was just giving US money to other countries that didn't do jack sh*t.

Voltaire said the same basic thing.

If people are arguing about something, it's a useless and fake topic.

When something is true, there's no argument and people take action.

The problem is human perspective, anecdotal stories about weather 20 years ago are not useful data.

Between Greenland GRIP studies and the work in Antarctica ice core oxygen isotope analysis has shown the global average temperature has swung up and down in an 8-10 degree band in the Holoscene era. The impact of this on ocean currents, the jet stream, and other climate cycles can cause even more drastic changes in isolated locations.

Climate is not static, the change is real. Humans can contribute with C02 and 40 micron atmospheric carbon insolation.

There is also a real push to exaggerate anthropomorphic influence, catastrophize the impact, and make saviour claims that we can control the global temperature like a thermostat by controlling carbon. Control of carbon is control of human consumption, there is too much money and power involved in the discussion to trust anyone's motives at face value.

The man made global warming theory does have a lots of problems to it.

The theory is a big money though so imagine it will continue to be pushed for a long while.

Something little mentioned, many more people die due to cold weather then they do from hot weather. The ratio according to some studies is 20 to 1.

"More people die of cold: Media’s heat-death climate obsession leads to lousy fixes"

https://nypost.com/2021/07/14/more-d...o-lousy-fixes/

excerpt:

Headlines from around the world tell us of hundreds of deaths caused by recent heat waves. The stories invariably blame climate change and admonish us to tackle it urgently. But they mostly reveal how one-sided climate-alarmist reporting leaves us badly informed.

The stories contain a kernel of truth: Global warming is a real, manmade problem that needs addressing. As temperatures increase, so will the frequency and severity of heat waves. But the media fail to report the full story and thus lose focus on the most effective ways to help.

Heat deaths are beguilingly click-worthy, and studies show that heat kills about 2,500 people every year in the United States and Canada. However, rising temperatures also reduce cold waves and cold deaths. Cold restricts blood flow to keep our core warm, increasing blood pressure and killing through strokes, heart attacks and respiratory diseases.

Those deaths are rarely reported, because they don’t fit the current climate narrative. Of course, if they were just a curiosity, the indifference might be justified, but they are anything but. Each year, more than 100,000 people die from cold in the United States, and 13,000 in Canada β€” more than 40 cold deaths for every heat death.

SEE ALSO
In this June 26, 2021, file photo, a paramedic with Falck Northwest ambulances treats a man experiencing heat exposure during a heat wave in Salem, Ore.
Oregon heat wave victims older, lived alone, had no AC
The same pattern holds, including in countries not typically associated with frigid winters. In India, cold deaths outnumber heat deaths 7 to 1. Globally, 1.7 million people die of cold each year, dwarfing heat deaths (300,000).....

This is "scientific stupidity" though because it ignores the massive changes the Earth has gone through and will continue to go through.

The Earth has been super hot, with oxygen levels that would kill humans, but other types of animals lived, and it has been super cold and covered with ice.

When dinosaurs lived, humans could not exist because there was too much oxygen.

During the time modern humans existed there was a tremendous freezing cold climate with ice covering vast areas of land.

As I've noted, we are still coming out of the ice age.

So, these massive extremes do not have man made causes and it's illogical to think that changes in the climate, in keeping with the ice age ending, have much to do with human activities that have only been going on for a hundred years in tiny areas of the world.

The manmade climate change ideas are part of anti-industrial fake Marxist propaganda. That is designed to make people fear and hate capitalism, thus accelerating what Marx said which is that people would get tired of captialism.

Fake Marxists can't wait for this to happen, so they lie about reality to make people want to end capitalism instead of that conclusion arriving naturally.

It's about the disruptions to society, dipchit. It could cause nuclear war.

Yes proven wrong. Time and time again.

The first time I heard about peak oil was in the 80s. Morons like yourself were guaranteeing the world would run out of oil by the year 2000. When that didn't happen they started moving the date, all while more and more huge reserves were being discovered.
Whatever date you say we will run dry on oil, I say add 1000 years. I will be closer than you.
It's no different than all the 'climate experts' saying the the earth will be uninhabitable in xx number of years. When that date comes and goes they just make up a new one. Nobody believes you anymore. No one with a brain believed you to begin with.
The earth has been changing since it's formation. It will continue to change. Hell every year the moon gets further away from the earth. That has more effect on climate than anything man is doing. Maybe we should tie a big cable to it to keep it from escaping earths gravitational pull. Don't even get me started on what happens when the earths axis adjusts every million years or so. Stay living in fear dipchit.
My 12 year old nephew was given "homework" on the website educationperfect .com. He was made to explain in his own words why "conspiracy theories" and "fake news" are bad and why climate change is real. It was over an hour of work, just brainwashing propaganda type chit. Check out who majority stakeholder of that website is.

Some investment company with their tentacles in sustainable energy bs. It's obviously in their best interest to brainwash the next generation to never question any "official government narrative".
We're in an ice age right now, the Pleistocene Ice Age that began ~2.5million years ago, but an interglacial period called the Holocene Interglacial that has been underway for about 11,700 years.

The entirety of human civilization has occurred just in this interglacial period
Also temperatures have been trending down, not up. And we have had period with much higher level of CO2 which were colder, not hotter.

No one wants to talk about steel and concrete.

Go figure out how much steel and concrete India is going to need to produce or Africa or South America, to fully industrialize their cities.

Would legit destroy the world.

So depopulate policies weeding out the least susceptible to being forced into a mold that benefits the modern technological system and repopulate with the influx of people from the boonies.
This is a good point and I don't know if it will be possible for those countries to develop to the same level as previously developed countries. It may not even be desirable.

Oh, and let's not forgetmore nuclear power plants are mandatory. The latest ones are meltdown proof. And they don't have to cost a crazy amount, especially if the desire to build a lot of them is present, as they can be constructed modularly, which drastically cuts down their price per plant.
The concrete thing is cool. And agree on nuclear power.

If anyone gave a fook about the planet they would be picking up plastic from water and trying to convince the third world to have less kids and stop pouring acid and dead bodies into their rivers. But please continue sequestering carbon so companies can get a higher ESG score and backdoor pollute even harder knowing some schmo is planting a tree across the country they paid for.

And by the way, you made my point for me showing that those fluctuations in the little ice age and the medieval warming period were pre indutrial revolution. Thats the whole argument, the climate fluctuates wildly, in short time periods for unexplained reasons. But blame CO2. Correlation does not equal causation.

We just can't override the sun as much as "consensus" makes us want to believe we can.
Facts. I hear 2030 through 2050 at the latest for what that is worth.

Climate is not static, the change is real. Humans can contribute with C02 and 40 micron atmospheric carbon insolation.

There is also a real push to exaggerate anthropomorphic influence, catastrophize the impact, and make saviour claims that we can control the global temperature like a thermostat by controlling carbon.Control of carbon is control of human consumption, there is too much money and power involved in the discussion to trust anyone's motives at face value.
Exactly. The wealthy want to continue to travel and consume as much as they like, while the res of us are restricted/banned from enjoying the same lifestyle.

More for their greedy paws and a smaller more restricted life for everyone else.

And they are working hard to get the masses to agree to their own enslavement.
