Also, re-reading Atomic Habits (GOAT book) so I can get started on a habit streak.
What wardrobe improvements did you make? Been looking into this myself recently. Agree with you on Atomic Habits, I'm due a re-read. Interested to see what habits you'll be implementing.

Intentional positivity is a real necessity. I do follow events and try to keep up with what is going on. It's meant to be a map of the terrain.

It's absolutely time to make changes and choices.
Definitely a time to make changes and choices rather than people just complaining about their situations, being miserable etc.

Been busy traveling for the past few weeks. Back now and trying to get my head down and have a productive week.

How's everyone else progressing? Coming ever closer to the half-way point of 2023, a good opportunity to revisit those NY resolutions/2023 goals.

I'm in for accountability and inspiration.

Current goals would include reading more and running on the regular

Back on the reading buzz myself. Committing to reading at least 20 pages of some sort of self development/educational book every day. What sort of distances are you running/hoping to run?

I'm trying to read a chapter a day, dont always get it done, but striving. Right now reading Ego is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday. As to the distances for running, for now i'd be happy just getting out to run but would like to build up to mile or two per run.

Have read some of Ryan Holiday's books, I've taken something from each of them. Would you take any notes when reading?

Sounds like just getting out and enjoying the running is the way to go before getting too dialed into distances and times etc.

I have a leather bond note book i use for taking notes, I jot down what book/chapter in the event i want to go back and reference it again later.
As to the running, I used to run a lot but over the year have let it go. At this point i'm just wanting to pick it back up for the cardio and the time to let my mind work. Once I'm running again I can look at if I want to set distance goals.

It has been an up-and-down couple of weeks for myself. When I get pretty hectic work-wise my nutrition takes a dip and vice-versa. I've at least been continuing with my lifting and cardio despite these dips.

Hope everyone is progressing well now that we're at the halfway point of 2023.

You're not alone with nutrition taking dips with hectic schedules, but awesome on keeping the lifting and cardio going!!

Hard to believe the half-way point of the year is just around the bend!

Just taking a look back now at my 2023 goals. Good progress on some big targets, still a lot to do on others. Putting a plan in place to accelerate progress in certain areas.

That is awesome, sometime we need to step back reconfigure the settings so to speak and continue to step forward.
