I never did get into bud light, I seemed to prefer coors. These days I'm pretty convinced Keystone is the same beer in a different can so I usually go with those. To be fair though I'm not sure I'd be able to tell bud from coors though.

How to recover:

They need to make this into a massive antiwoke joke that appeals to the "bros" that buy their beer.

If they played it right, they could become heroes by counteracting woke material and making fun of it.

You could get a football player, put him in a dress and say....Now THIS is more like it! Bud, a beer for men! Then, the actor says...wait...cut...this sh!t is crazy....end of commercial.

My friend works for a distributor driving a truck
He says business is down for him as many of his customer (local bars and stores) are not ordering or not buying more. Some of course are not ordering out of morals but many are not risking buying more as a business decision (they want to buy what sells)
