The obsessive talking about Trump started back in 2015 when he first started gaining serious ground in the GOP primaries for the 2016 election. It's more like 8 years people have obsessed over him, regardless of their feelings about him.

People also forget that he was pretty famous decades before he ever ran for office, too. I still remember references to him in stuff like a Dilbert comic strip from the 90's. His WWE appearances. His reality TV shows. Hell, he was famous in the 80's for his real estate business work.

You might be right. He just won't have the lasting legacy like someone else said.

Only far away history will be able to judge that. The Trump era could easily be looked at as a turning point in history. Obviously if those standing in direct opposition to him and his followers win the very long game they will be the ones writing the history books.

If he wins another election massive amounts of people will have had Trump on the brain for damn near 15 years...a huge portion of their adult life.

America thinks America is the most powerful. It hasn't been that way in probably 40 years. China and Saudi Arabia are more powerful. China was running their own police in NYC right under their noses. America doesn't matter anymore.

He also owns the most mental real estate of any man in the history of mankind. I have been fascinated by the liberal mindset of hating him so much that they only think about him all day long and live in a constant state of upset, imagine that.
For every man, there is a sentence, a string of words, that has the power to destroy him
