Democrats want to run off businesses and the middle class. They view them as the biggest opposition group to them.

The reason is they tend to vote republican.

If they can cause enough problems for them then they wil eventually pack up and leave.

once they do, the only people left will be the super rich and the super poor. Both of which always vote democrat. This ensures a permanent majority for years to come.

The elites dont live in the ruined areas anyway so they dont feel the impact at all, they actually benefit from it because now they get all the good contracts and deals the city or state is handing out without any competition.

This strategy is in effect in every place a democrat is in charge, They didnt just go nuts all at once, its a planned strategy.
