If you have a gaming laptop already, then get a PS5, the exclusives are good and I believe most of the Xbox stuff is coming to PC so you can play it there.

That should tell you all you need to know.
But Flight Sim doesn't lock at 30, so he's literally just lying.

Yeah no chit lol, I guess acknowledging reality makes you a massive Xbox fanboy these days, according to massive Sony fanboys.

Just about every worthwhile Sony game is on PC these days.

It's locked at 30 unless you enable VRR from the console settings, in which case you'll never get a stable 60 unless in a cessna with clear skies and no weather effects. Try flying over New York in a jet in a rain storm and watch it grind to a halt. Jfl at Xcuck copers thinking the series x can run flight sim better than a $5000 nerd tower, which even that won't get a solid 60 under all conditions.

Quick question: do you even own a Series X?

So it doesn't lock at 30?

Lmaoooo the first sentence of his post undermining his entire previous post. You'd think a simple 2 second Google search to save yourself from looking like an idiot would be appropriate.

Ironic and dumb to argue over either way since every ps5 game is 30fps at its max graphic settings. And every Xbox game is 30 fps at its max graphic settings. I'm sure there's a few exceptions, but most of the flagship titles are this way.

what's so great about flight sim anyways? I actually bought the game last month to use on VR, just haven't had the time yet.

But you're just flying around? That's it?

It is a flight. Simulator.

Some people like flying around casually seeing cool real world locations, some like taking it seriously as a sim with the sim settings dialed up

So yes, in flight simulator, you are “just flying around”

Yeah it's pretty ****in boring unless you're into aviation imo. It's worth trying out and checking out a few things around the world but that's about it.

Even using my flight stick didn't really make it fun. It's not like racing sim which is more relatable and easy to pick up since everyone drives.

I watched a video of someone taking off in a big passenger flight and was pretty shocked how accurate to life and complex the controls were. I was like aw hell nah, but took a look at some actual flying. Not for me but I can def see why some flycels would enjoy it.

Well there's also the Top Gun and Reno Air Racing content. That's far more focused and a lot more action packed. The air racing can get intense, as well as the top gun stuff.

I'll give it a shot tonight. I have tried launching it a couple times but for some reason it wouldn't launch in VR mode and it was just a tiny flat screen in cinema mode, so I shut it off.
