Why don't they just go out and play tennis? Or do they have to play pickleball because it's the "in" thing? They can certainly run around the tennis court.

Pickleball lets you socialize between literally every point. Also even zero coordination stacies can play well enough to have fun. In tennis, they'd be picking up a ball after every 2nd or 3rd shot at most.

I'm thinking if my gym replaces the basketball court with a pickleball court the clientele, smells, and general clownery would greatly improve. Hoping it's the courts they replace and not the gay ass TRX field because of that.

I used to teach beginner tennis players with those foam balls so they could do well and I think those would be more fun than the loud pickleball.

I think the scoring in tennis also turns people off, but I’m afraid of the scoring in pickleball since I know tennis scoring in my sleep.

Tennis isn't that much fun to play anymore, in my opinion. Todays racquets and strings are too powerful.

I'm not to surprise that many are now gravitating to playing the slower paced vegetable sports, such as pickle ball.

Some exercise is better than none. Tennis courts weren’t being used, now they are. It’s a good thing.

Though tbh, the only people I see playing pickle ball are over 65. It’s great that they’re doing something other than waiting to die.
