What was the data from the EIA that disputes what he said, then? If the data was wrong, is he a liar for quoting them? Maybe stupid, because it was a dumb prediction, but a liar?

Joe Biden: If you get the vaccine you will not get covid!
Person: Joe Biden said if you get the vaccine you will not get covid.
(fast forward a few months, the vaccines do not prevent you from getting covid)

... in this scenario, is the person a liar or is the person just stupid?

Tucker was the most watched cable news show in the key age demo and the most watched among Independents and Dems. So he wasn't just watched by boomer cons and MAGApedes.

His viewership was massive

First, just to be clear that Tucker said exactly what Ol’ Sillie posted.

I don’t think Tucker is stupid enough to not understand inventory and the EIA diesel inventory report. Do you?

According to Nitrogen’s article, a 25 day inventory was within the normal range. And obviously if you don’t replenish your inventory you will run out, except there was no reason to believe that the inventory wasn’t going to be replenished just as it always had and in reality was.

So the lie was saying we were going to run out of diesel in 25 days.
