I would shave the stubble but keep a goatee, and grow your hair out man you are blessed with having a full head of hair in your late 40s and you're wasting it with that short flattop like you're a drill sergeant or something.

You've got a full head of hair that alone puts you above 90% of your age bracket.
Since you have that going on for you I would suggest growing your hair long, that will give you a more youthfull vibe plus Indians have goat hair genétics for longer hair.
Long hair + interesting facial hair can make you look based and interesting my friend.
