How tall are you Op? From that angle the 50yo looks like a manlet, and you said when he approached you, you were standing up...normally guys don't randomly start **** with other guys that are noticeably bigger than them.

To me it sounds like both of you are stressed out over nothing.

Dude what? While he was talking **** about me, he was saying “People like him, I’m GONNA-“ and he suddenly caught himself. I then yelled at him, “You’re gonna WHAT?” At that point it was crickets from him, I said “You’re gonna do WHAT?” And nothing from there.

The reason I threatened cops is because people like him get off of other people similar to them who would also want to square up and “step outside”. But as soon as you bring up cops and start recording, they go full bitch mode because they know that **** won’t fly legally. Who’s the bitch now? Afraid of talking into a camera? You were the bitch. If you counter a 1-on-1 fight proposal with a "I'll call the cops" you are backing down. I'm not saying you are wrong, it doesn't make sense to fight over this, but it escalated to that point and you were the one to back down.

He was with some 20 year old chick. Dude was going back and forth between me and talking **** to her trying to laugh being all smug so she can laugh back with him for validation.

Imagine you’re using a machine 5+ minutes. Random dude comes in saying he’s been on it getting all hostile when you tell him you’ve been on it for a while. What would you do?

Just because I backed down from an actual fight doesn’t mean I backed down in the grand scheme of things. Dude was aching to fight. Getting him in trouble is another way I can get him. If this is successful with management tomorrow and they reach out to him and boot him, I’m going to be happy with it. The dude was acting all smug right off the bat man, walking towards me while twirling his hand in the air as if “ok get the f outta here, I was here.” He can kiss my ass. I been thinking about going back to calisthenics at home given that I have rings, a weight vest with parallettes and a pull up bar I built in the backyard. My gym got so many tools and juicers, I can’t stand any of them especially after tonight.

I’d rather not get in trouble. I fought back in school when I was younger and got suspended for it every ****ing time. The way the system is set up, you either carry a strap and not fight at all, or you take the hits and go the legal route after.

From a philosophy standpoint your mindset is terrible. Even the most humble professional fighters will beat your ass in self defense if a fight isn't avoidable.

Who cares about the law, defend yourself like a man if need be. Not sure if you have a wife and kids, but they also may need your protection.

I wouldn’t doubt that the most humble professional fighters would win in an unavoidable fight. But then what after? You get shafted with the law. Unless you’re 100% the victim, the law isn’t on your side. You remember that Kyle Rittenhouse trial where he was pleading self defense and what he had to go through? F it man, I’m just going to go back to doing calisthenics from home since I’m going back to school here to work on my degree, need time to study and all, no more time and money wasted on driving and gas.

I used to get into fights when I was younger, and it's the dumbest ****ing thing. So many things can go horribly wrong, and it's not worth it unless someone is actually really trying to hurt you or something.

My advice to you is let it go. If this guy is nuts enough to act this way, you don't know what else he will do. He might be at the end of his rope. Just if you see him again be like hey bro it's all good, we good and just avoid him. If you get him banned, you don't know what he will try to do.

Remember the best way to win a fight is to avoid one. IRL you don't know who is armed, connected, psycho etc. There are too many variables. It is almost never rational to fight a stranger unless you are cornered or assaulted unprovoked.

If you are, fight as violently and viciously as possible with whatever you have and sort it out later. Life isn't like the movies. A single well placed hit can legit kill you. A stab wound can kill you very quickly or cause permanent damage. And in Murica, you have no way of knowing who has a gun. Don't ever risk your life over pride.
