Keep this information/video in your back pocket. There is a part 2 as well. I got my aerobic threshold tested in a collegiate athletic lab and glad I did. Gave me lots of information

Is it possible you caught something from one of your Brazilian whores that may explain your pitiful time?

Exactly this.

After about 6 miles, at my best shape, I’d go “ehhhh, f*ck this- I’m done”

Nice will look into this.

Although I don’t plan to run for a while it’d be nice to maintain my cardio gains.

Even though my physique is chit rn I’m in the best shape of my life cardio/fitness wise.

Next time, imagine there's an butthole with male fluids dripping out of it at the finish line for you to eat.

I'm sure that will improve your time.

Probably the biggest accomplishment of my life, was tough but felt amazing finishing it.

I don’t see how whores is comparable lol, it’s purely for pleasure when I want a quick smash n dash with a hnngg Brazilian.

Yeah even though I didn’t get the time I wanted, I’ve done something 99.9% of people couldn’t/wouldn’t do.

That itself is a massive achievement.

Your mistake was most likely that you didn't taper your training. You can't perform at your peak in any sport for more than a short period of time so you shouldn't be going for pbs right before the main event.

I didn’t run for a week before the marathon srs.

My last long run was 10 miles in 1 hour 20 mins then after that I rested for 7 days straight.

Good job, Opie.

I know the feeling. I ran a half marathon a couple weekends ago and it was 6 minutes slower than my last one and I am absolutely gutted. I had an awesome training working up and felt great when I finished. I need to run another ASAP to wash this experience out of my mind.

I have no desire to do a full, major props bro.

Ankles aren’t that, I wore ankle braces anyway after they kept getting injured during training so that helped a ton.

Was limping rest of the day with burning feet, struggling to go up the stairs.

Ran in Nike Quest 4’s, only cost me £50/$60 I’ve had these shoes for a year now.

Really I should of brought proper marathon shoes a few weeks before the event but didn’t bother lol.

Yeah honestly I’m thinking about doing another full maybe in a few years so I can smash out this time.

How far into it did you develop the blisters? Blisters or knocks will slow your pace by a lot without realizing it.
