Weird obsession with some dead guy. Plitt trained too hard, his life went off the rails. Hate to derail the thread but what's the best cure for an itchy azzhole?
Coked up Plitt was the best mayne
QvRsxdnfodw[/youtbe]
HAHA that was awesome lol. I always liked his attitude/body language (reminded me of Gordon Ramsey with all the random moving around haha), the gym nature now is all cuddly and welcoming. Before it had guys like this out of their mind giving the heaviest advice ever.
He is right aswell. Guys like him and Yo Elliott were the guys to give advice for the younger guys out there. (Not so much Yo Elliott since he seems a bit crazy in recent years, what happened to him?) Not even for lifting, they gave life advice and they looked like proper role models for how men should live a life since they had a good balance. Now the gym people are pathetic and their lives are a mess since they scroll on an iphone for like 8 hours as a hobby and have social media run their lives with 0 energy/persona or anything at all.
The Hodge Twins were good but they don't talk about lifting/stupid funny stuff. The prime of everything passed after 2011/2012 anyways.

The thing about this guy is that fitness didn't rule his entire life, this was just something on the side. I swear every guy before 2011 was like that and had like 10+ physical hobbies as the norm. Now everyone has 0 hobbies or they live behind a screen.
I wish it was 2010 I swear.

And Greg was over 100+covers, his site i think he mentioned was pulling in around a mil before IG was poppin the way it is today. Plus he was one of the few at that time that was talking about leaving a legacy behind, being remembered, etc(inb4 sig)

Another thing, he had a strong persona. Fitness guys now just talk **** in a depressed tone and they look like plain blank canvasses. 0 energy. Telling me about diet plans and personalised routines while giving pathetic little speeches LOL. Just shut up with this useless retarded ****. With or without a physique these guys act like weird awkward girls.
If Greg Plitt lost his physique or never had a good one, he'd be popular for something else with his epic persona. Same with 2010 Hodgetwins, 2011 Yo Elliott, Rambo etc. Guys/Women before 2011 were on a whole other level I swear.

In this era that doesn't exist. All the information is out there and has been floating around for 20+ years. Athlean X has done the same thing for over 10 years, except I thought he'd stick to difficult physio/injury situations and not this "how to get big in 30 days" bullcrap. Anything online after 2013 is a waste of time. Lifters now are just garbage recycling stuff like awkward girls reading from a script. It's like a guy trying to be the next Steveo or a woman being another Paris Hilton. It's just not happening, especially in this plain boring copy and paste era. Culture now is to stay well within the lines and get the same hair/clothes as everyone else, before 2011 it was the exact opposite.
There are no role models now. It is crazy.

Yeah he was everywhere. He just had rhe perfect design. Yeah he was just a normal guy who just wanted to do stuff. Before what was popular today?
I noticed that, he had crazy speeches that were actually memorable. Some more memorable than dbz vegetas lines or spongebob lines LOL.
I've mentioned this guy before loads of times in giant discussions. This was last year, I was just reading my old threads since I am anyway online. I miss talking about the 2000s stuff and brainstorming with the guys. I think that is over now. Nobody understands it. See below.

However I don't think anyone predicted that 2016+ would be the way it is. He always made it a point to say that you should push yourself yet now people just do the bare minimum? He was a product of his time, lots of guys at that time were bursting with high energy/charisma and probably went to like 20 places a day. Except most of those guys didn't care to capture it on camera. The personas from that time would destroy the current crap in the spotlight.
Peoples lives now don't even make sense. It's all about technology 24/7 and everything is just a poorly recycled version of older eras.
Nobody even has cool attitudes or walks. Sounds dumb but guys just had that normal tough energy when they did stuff. Guys now struggle to buy cereal due to confidence issues whereas guys 20 years ago were having having fun fixing their neighbours cars.
Life is so easy anyways, everything is spoon-fed and everyone goes back to their house/village where they have no idea on how things work. People are lucky the world works the way it does, where you barely have to do anything and get a full house and tons of stuff. Would love to see the average male put up a shelf or diy anything without power tools.

Wow, Ken Block and TINA TURNER dying this year! Very sad, always thought Tina Turner had the coolest hair ever, giant and spiked up like a backcombed hedgehog Rambo.
