I am grateful to be an American.

Personal pride has nothing to do with it. I didn't build it. I didn't contribute.

I am very fortunate to live here and have the opportunities that I have. The illusions of freedom do work to a degree, even though I am aware they are illusions.

There are way worse places to live. In fact, most of the human population lives in chit holes. We are very lucky.

All of this was beyond my control and I have zero ownership. I don't know how that could instill pride in anyone.
“The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.“

PS: Don't eat poop, just don't let the idea of it stop you from living life to its fullest.

Haha ur real edgy dude. Bet if your child got exploded by a fuking bomb you'd have something else to say. It's hilarious how we only lost 3k ppl in 9/11 and everyone is big mad. Do you have any idea what we have done elsewhere? Not even just bombs, but soul crushing sanctions and embargoes, clandestine coups and assassinations, etc. We have held entire countries back plunging millions into poverty or death just so Americans can have cheap bananas, oil, sugar, and coffee. It's disgusting.

It IS in our control though. We never make it an issue. People fuking quibble over stupid chit and only make domestic policy an issue. Nobody in America seems to give a chit we are MURDERING peoples' kids. Then when the survivors grow up and attack us, we act all shocked. Every single one of us is responsible. We elect these clowns. At least in Russia, they have an excuse and can say Putin and his guys run the show. What is our excuse? We choose these psychopaths.

And if we believe our democracy is a farce, then why haven't we tried to fight to fix it?

What? No. You don't understand. Nixon sabotaged the peace talks and delayed them, costing another 15k or so American deaths just so he could come in and end the war with his election. Do you understand?

He effectively killed Americans for his own political ambition. And Johnson the warmonger was illegally spying on Nixon so he couldn't reveal the tapes without incriminating himself. Just shows how fuked up our country was.

20% of NK's population was killed in the Korean war -- a war we waged to protect a fascist dictator and suppress workers.

Just yet another example of pure evil.

This.

Chit is going downhill.

Even the average european is now more alpha than the average american, by a wide margin lmfao.

We are an obese, drug addicted, retarded society that glorifies criminals/lifetime pieces of chit.

We have tent cities along the sidewalks, and literally have free programs to give those people free chit to keep them living that lifestyle.

It's fuking ridiculous.

Because nobody will fuking listen to some incel.

But it's precisely because I am an incel that I have the fuking time to look into this chit. It is said the average American only spends 10 mins on foreign affairs a week. Even our own Senators when asked had no idea what our military was doing in certain countries.

Nobody has a clue.

https://www.cnn.com/2017/10/23/polit...ers/index.html

Also, only 8 members of Congress are briefed on classified intel.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gang...utive%20branch.

Nobody else has a clue what is going on.

POTUS can also hide info from them. And ofc there is little to ensure POTUS is made aware of everything as well. We literally have a shadow government that is completely opaque and just does chit all over the world.

It's depressing af because nobody calls this chit out except a handful of people who are immediately silenced and deleted from the media. The only time people were even remotely sympathetic to an anti-imperialism pov was briefly in opposition to Bush when it could be weaponized for the Democrats. But the Democrats then purged their party of antiwar voices and proceeded to repeat the same crap.

Every election, the president runs on a humble foreign policy, wins, and then betrays it.

Bush - says he will run on a humble foreign policy, proceeds to start 2 wars and totally fuk up the Middle East
Obama - says he will correct Bush's mistakes, proceeds to destabilize Libya and Syria
Trump - says he will correct both, proceeds to bomb the chit out of the Middle East, assassinate foreign generals, and threaten nuclear war via twitter (but notably, does not start a new war), destabilizes multiple countries in South America and chooses to arm Ukraine
Biden - says he will correct Trump's foreign policy, doubles down on literally everything Trump did and then funds a massive proxy war with Russia.

You can't win. Whoever gets put up there is totally captured by the deep state. Even Trump basically was. I mean why would he hire Bolton? And only now, as he is defying them on Ukraine (merely in his promises, there is no telling what he would really do), he is being prosecuted and aggressively attacked by the state.

It's a no win situation. They probably just tell you to play ball or they will give you the JFK experience.

Why can't we just stand firm in our ideals and fulfill the responsibilities that come with our power? We could be a force for good and use our troops to help ppl in natural disasters. We could commit to ending world hunger and poverty. We could make serious efforts at peace in he hotspots all over the world and talk more about collaboration. We could make reasoned arguments and SHOW by example, not tell that our ways work. But that requires doing honest work and reflecting on our own ways and how they might not be so great considering the chaos and unhappiness here. It's hard work controlling the crime, getting Americans off drugs, restoring the integrity of families, improving the education and literacy, and reorganizing civilization to meet the challenges of the future while similtaneously helping the rest of the world. It's too hard and people shut down and give up. They'd rather live in denial or pretend these problems are too complex to fix while worsening them.

The sad thing is there are tons of smart people who have solutions. We have some of the smartest people on Earth. Our leaders just don't even listen.

fuking racist imperialist chitbag

there is so much fuking wrong with this

innate to your pov is that everyone else is inferior and somehow less worthy of resources than you

the entire point of development is to reduce birth rates and improve quality of life for the people

it consistently drops with education and access to medicine and removal of poverty

but I can't cure your racism (which is the innate source of a lot of this insanity) in a forum post

maybe IRL I could talk to you and really convince you, but online, you're just taking a position and nothing I say will help
