Do you always do a warm up swing short of the ball then extend it for the shot?

I'm concerned it would mess with my swing too much so I shuffle my feet forward if I do a warm up swing first.

short answer yes. Helps me get a very clear idea of what im trying to do with my swing but its not for everyone

good stuff without seeing yiur swing im guessing you are a little steep hence you are hitting the irons better than the driver. Totally recommend AMG's recent videos on shallowing

Yeah I tend to get a little steep when I start hitting them bad. That's what I'm working on fixing now with my coach. I'm starting to get the right shallowing moves down, and get a nice draw when I'm swinging nice. Getting used to the shallowing feeling and a more in to out path has made a massive difference in my consistency. I was all over the place, and now in my last 15 rounds or so consistently shooting around 80-85. And I know I'm really close to having that next breakthrough. June will be 2 years that I've been playing, and hope to get to single digit hc by the end of the year, and close to scratch a year after that. My course is a pretty tough Fazio designed course so that would be really good imo.

I'll pm you a video of my swing eventually when I can get out there and have someone take one for me, and see what you think when I have a chance.


And AMG do have a really good channel.


Playing the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island in a couple months so hopefully I'll be ready by then.

senior citizens misc is that way -->

edit: also, your swing is trash, you don't transfer your weight at all. You should be loading up on your back leg, transfering to your front and walking through your swing. I assumed that your weird twisting swing was due to being older and having limited mobility but if its not that... try shuffleboard.
