I also don't know about your stat. But I believe a lot do go broke.
Who makes you the decider of what people should & shouldn't have? There will always be suffering--you can't save the world, pal. Try focusing on yourself

Do you understand we even have a legal distinction between luxuries and necessaries? It's quite obvious which is which. Uh huh. That's what they all say. Look bro, there are people starving all over the world, and if we don't make it better, more and more people will get angrier. If we keep fuking people over, more and more will want to kill us. Even in our own country, if we keep jerking off and doing nothing for the poor, they will organize and kill the rich. It happens everywhere time and time again in history. It can and will happen here if we do not focus on helping the poor more. A good society must provide a minimal level of decency for living to properly integrate its people. The entire point of employment is to efficiently employ (use) the people to productive ends for the benefit of the entire society as a whole, and not just a privileged few.

We also stand to gain so much from improved international cooperation, development, and the eradication of poverty and world hunger. To meet the future challenges facing humanity, we will need all hands on deck, working together. The Earth is essentially a giant prison. We are trapped here for now. We need to organize and make efficient use of the resources to solve problems and figure out how to survive the coming disasters.

The people will organically decide a decider or means of decision, like they always do. People will either vote in reforms or violently impose them, but they are inevitable. This can't continue as it is.
