I have a "real" job.

I am not hoping to make a living from one gym. IF it goes well, it will make a bit of money, after I cover costs and a fulltime manager, and then open a couple of more elsewhere, doing the same thing. That's what the end game is.

And one more that I forgot about…the Rogue Monster Rhino Belt Squat, so that one can squat without putting all that pressure on their spine…

Awesome, hope you go with plate dumbells instead of the diecast wrapped in rubber garbage.

Some more pics…still to do…

* Install one more weightlifting platform and one more skierg, to be done tomorrow.

* Still waiting for the plate storage to arrive. Should do so on Monday, this has been the biggest hiccup so far, other than the slight budget blowout.

* Still need to install speakers, buy a computer and set up wifi, to be done sometime this week.

* Put up climbing ropes and fans.

* Set up bins for the business.

* Other small tedious crap - locks for doors, toilet paper, soap for toilets, etc.

* Arrange stuff around and clean up the place.

Awesome op. Do miscers get a discount (or charged extra)? I’ve got to know before I commit to moving to Australia.
Honestly, I hope you make a bundle and enjoy owning it.

Congrats and Good Luck!

It'll be a dream gym!!

************

Just remember one thing before letting micser use your gym.

90% of misc don't lift.

90% of the remaining 10% who actually lift don't wipe training equipment.

What you need is a poster like this. ^^^

Good luck brah!

Opening a warehouse gym is one of my dreams, but I'm too passionate about working out that I think I would get obsessed with buying all the top equipment to have the ultimate gym, which would fukk up my profit margin. You need good mirrors and a DB area with great overhead lighting. (Ded fkn Srs)

Good luck, looking like it's coming together fast.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

My bro opened one last year, opening another this year-same idea with the full time job. At this point he's got so many hustles he wouldn't need it….but he's bought his workplace now LMAO. Good luck with the venture mayne.

The name is The Iron Foundry. I like the name, plus I have some marketing ideas related to that that I will run through later.

I would have had the same problem, but I have a buddy who owns a few gyms helping me out with all of this.

Just an update. I am hosting my first Strongman comp tomorrow. It has been mentioned on the local radio, there will be a photographer from the local paper coming to take phots, there will be around 20+ competitors coming to take part from all over the state and there will be someone who will be attempting to break an Australian record for mens' under 105kgs axle clean and press. There is a mystery event, which will be AMRAP in 60 seconds car deadlift. Check the video out below. Got the car for $200 and the frame was given to me for free (which can have weight added on to it as well).
