Meh, A lot of people don't travel simply because we don't have the vacation time. By the time we do get considerable time, we already have kids.

I will say, I think about saving up about $10k and traveling for 6 months.

I've been in situations where I had to take a taxi 14 hours across a country because we missed a flight, and drank the entire ride and had a great time. A wife would not do that.

Yeah I need to save and take half a year off, I'm not getting any younger. Will be 33 this year. But that's pretty risky IMO, not to mention puts me behind in regards to things like buying a house.

Some of life's best adventures come from completely random situations. Wives plan things extensively, which removes these random awesome occurrences.

I've met friends in a hostel before, and traveled with them for the next month. And because they spoke the language, I experiences a bunch of local things that I literally would have never been able to do on my own.

When you have a wife and kid, you stay at resorts. You experience an environment curated for tourists to feel comfortable.

There's a couple reasons.

1...they see other girls wanting it. This is the biggest one. Without knowing why, they see other girls wanting it because THEIR reasons are 2 3 & 4, and so gave birth to reason 1 as the most prevalent.

2...they have no other drives. Career women inherently don't want a family, or at least that's what they're instructed to think. So what else is there??? They need something to fill the gap, which leads seamlessly into #3...

3...it is largely unattainable OR qualitatively attainable. The best goal to work towards for someone that never wants to face the fact that their life is a gigantic lie, is the one that can forever be said as not reached yet. She can travel from here to there and still say she's not been everywhere. So arbitrary is this goal that it unfulfillable, keeping her from ever having to face herself. She has no goals, no legacy, no reason, nothing, she is a faceless human with no future as she decimates billions of years of DNA survivability.

4...it's what they think men want. Men want to travel to f*ck chicks in other countries. Women want to travel because they see that men want to travel, though they don't know why men want to travel. Feminism is a forever copy-cat of men, but they cannot copy the intentions of men because they either do not understand them or they just don't know them.
