I love how marriage just became a fantasy to 85% of women nowadays

Women want the party, they want the attention, and they want the status, but a lot of them don't actually want to be married.
It's the same with guys, tbh. Lot of guys go with it because "it's what they're supposed to do."
I know half a dozen married couples in CA who are in their mid 30s and don't have children, nor apparently any plans for one. Kids are too expensive... it takes 2 incomes just to afford a 2-bed apt in San Diego, and then you're fukked on childcare. But economics aside, why the fuk would you get married if kids aren't in the picture. What's the point?
It's the same with guys, tbh. Lot of guys go with it because "it's what they're supposed to do."

I met my wife when I was 18. I married her when I was 45.
Marriage is a legal contract, it is no longer a social one. You can get married and divorced soon after, or be together for 50 years without ever getting married. That piece of paper won't make you any more likely to stay together, not cheat etc. Those things happens because of what you think and feel, not because of a piece of paper.
If you are going to have kids, get married, as the legal situation justifies it.

It's very depressing the state of things, tbh. A lot of women these days think they can be as ****ty as they want and men need to acquiesce to them. Don't like fatties? No I won't lose weight; you just need to get over yourself and learn to like lardasses -- but if you were fat I would dump you. Don't like women with bad attitudes? I’ll never get divorce raped and have half my net worth stolen, I’ll never have my wages garnished for child support, I’ll never be put in jail for failure to pay said child support, I’ll never have to watch someone **** another man and tell me how much she hates me, all while I stay for the kids or to try to save the marriage etc. I’m pretty much past those pitfalls at my age. All in all my life will remain easy, and I likely won’t ever regret not getting married.
For women it’s very different though. It’s a fantasy when they’re young, but that’s because everyone around them bends over and kisses their ass constantly. As they get older and realize the type of loneliness the average man lives with, their priorities are likely to change. Women don’t do well with solitude like men do.
