I think they'll throw the kitchen sink at him and charge him in Georgia for the 'find 11,780 votes' call and RICO charges and Federally again for 'Jan 6/fake electors' stuff (some overlap with Georgia). Likely all of this by the end of August.

Interesting note, the likely charges do not depend on whether the documents were classified or not. Only that it was national defense information. So it sidesteps the whole declassification process debate.

The charges are allegedly 7 counts of ranging from obstruction, willful retention of NDI, conspiracy, scheme to conceal, false statements.

Other than wilful retention of NDI ... the charges suggest the main issue isn't so much Trump took classified docs by accident. It's that he knowingly hid them from the Feds. From all reports, Pence alerted the Feds immediately when he discovered the docs, which is likely why he got cleared. Trump instead played all sort of stupid games
