Sony laid the blueprint for successful single player games. It's no surprise why Xbox studios are strongly finding inspiration from them. Phil Spencer himself has praised them so many times too.


Star Wars is a strong CGI trailer, but I'm digging it. Definitely a multiplat.

It looks like a PSVR game and completely uninteresting.


I'm sad and mad .... Obsidian is so goated, but this just looks so ehhhhh. Pillars of Eternity was a masterpiece .... But this looks like The Outer Worlds, but far worse. I was so excited for this.

I'm not sold on this at all.

Great showcase so far but +1 on the Avowed feelings. What the **** man. Wtf was the point of MS buying if they just gonna put out something like that. We want a 200m budget New Vegas or Kotor2 lol not some outer worlds equivalent

I'm pleasantly surprised by Fable!

Loved the narration with Richard Ayoade*, but most of all I really like how they went all in on the theme of Fablesthat gives it a unique charm that in hindsight felt lacking in 2, and I'm not even sure was extant in 3. The more realistic proportions/style meshes nicely with the highly fantastical elements and is something I don't think we've ever really seen explored. Usually games will go with a cartoonish or exaggerated art style to go along with the fantastical, but this is very refreshing to see..


*From The IT Crowd, and it's pronounced Aye-Oh-Ah-Dee for anyone else who was ever confused.

Avowed looks nice, but admittedly I know nothing about Pillars of Eternity. Definitely the smart direction to have a Skyrim-like while Bethesda is faffing about with Nasapunkfield, but I'm curious if it will be a fraction as open to modding.

The combat at least looks like an improvement over vanilla Skyrim, and I like the inclusion of firearms to mix things up. Never cared for magic, and the scaley was more disturbing than an Argonian.
