yep,

People often work themselves up reading these kinds of stories and then go overboard. If I bought supplements for every horror story about being deficient in a particular micro-nutrient, I'd be popping a cocktail of supplements every damn day.

The only supplements I take are Zinc, Ashwaghanda and Magnesium Tartrate (for the sexy-time, and I don't even take them everyday), Vitamin D (but only in the winter months when its been cloudy for several days/weeks) and vitamin C which I only take in mega dosages when I feel like I may be getting sick....Everything else is snake oil...even fish oil (no pun intended) I just eat salmon at least once per week and thats my "omega-3 fish oil supplementation."

Truth of the matter is, you don't know what you're deficient in until you get blood work done. Do that first and then see if you need to supplement otherwise you're more often than not perfectly fine eating a balanced diet of foods cooked from scratch.

Yep I remember it

Maybe it was because I was young, but that stuff was scarily effective at burning fat. I think I lost about 50lbs in a month and a half. Its probably why I have perpetually elevated bp to this day. It was basically a methamphetamine derivative, lol.

I remember when I figured out about mineralizing up before a workout

It also helps with hangovers

Most people have a magnesium deficiency + other less common deficiencies

My workouts, sleep, recovery and gains are noticeably better when I load up on minerals

Irish sea moss is another good one with something like 92 minerals out of the 104 our body needs, but I can't take it..Its disgusting

How much was in there?

Can't imagine. I tried a modern hydroxycut and wanted to vomit. Maybe the other ingredients do something.

I hate dealing with managing a bunch of pills and don't like taking them either. But I've been sticking w/vit D + vit K + magnesium for some time. It's about $1 a day all in. Having a low vit D level = depression. Minimum healthy level I've seen most recently was 60. Used to be sub 20 and my last lab came in at 50.

Oh, and the screen shot above- tion: brilliant and also insane or super intelligent and educated troll.
I hate having to take all of the pills on top of my medications. Arbonne now has a mouth spray for Vitamin D and K and I'm going to try their powder for a multi. I also just started taking magnesium from Whole Foods for anxiety and I have chewable gummies from Amway for Blue Light Vision-- Lutein, etc.

This is interesting about Boron. Thanks for sharing.
