just a heads up it's virtually impossible to beat it on Series X since one of the final QTE becomes so tight at 60 FPS it's really hard to get lol

Dude, you can turn off FPS boost whenever you like. Just turn it off for any missions where it gives you any problems.

I just watched Starfield and damn. Knowing it's Bethesda who builds the most interactive real worlds with lifelike NPCs, count me in for a Xbox Series X. Hopefully game isn't overhyped and flops.

Sadly my PS5 Disk drive is broken, so I'm looking at $1k in the next 3 months or so. Waiting for Sony to announce update PS5.

It's funny how people still buy games on disc thinking that's the solution for any long term needs when disc drives are always by far the most unreliable part in a console and the first to break.

this wasn't possible brah, so unless they added this in the last 2-ish years there wasn't a way to fix this

What do you mean? Just go to compatibility options, there's a box you can check and uncheck for every FPS boosted game.

I'm not big on the technical stuff, but here's an explanation given:

You can turn off FPS boost for a titles if you'd like so you could just turn it off when you get to that point in the game.

This game doesn't have fps boost. The game always had unlocked fps. But due the extra horse from the Series X it now runs at 60 fps, instead of 20 to 35 fps on the X360.

So you'd rather corporations have full control over games? I don't like spending $70 and having it in the cloud. Because with everything digital they have full blown 100% control and can do what they want.

I can trade all my disk games in. Did that last time and got God of War & Horizon without coming out of pocket.
