I remember being hesitant about taking finasteride for several years cause of these sort of threads on the MISC. Finally decided to get on it and 0 side effects for past 6 years.

Lol at big pharma cucks ITT who shill for hormone altering drugs like finasteride. It's absolutely NOT worth the gamble and I'm sorry OP. It affects everyone differently, some are genetically predisposed to getting permanent sides. Latest research shows a nervous system component, basically androgen receptors get desensitized, hence why TRT doesn't work as a cure.

It took me 3-4 years to get back to 100% normal. I still have problems with lights at night though.

I don't believe you. I think you were aware of possible side effects prior to taking the pill, and experienced placebo.
