- The son decided to sell the company with no prior warning.

- Manager sloot that I worked with told me everything will be good throughout 2023.
- OP spent tons of money, time, and effort into new products for fall/winter.

- OP desperately finding replacement supplier.

Thing is, not sure if it is the manager's fault. The trust fund ph@ggit son strung everyone along and just told everyone to fk off with no warning. Manager did go out of her way to help me at times which helped a lot. She wants to start "consulting" with the existing clients but doesn't even have a replacement factory to make products. Essentially, she wants to be the middle man which I don't need. Wish I never told her enthusiastically that I was interested in continuing the partnership.

I have neglected my health in the name of pursuing wealth. Although I am the client, I have always gone above and beyond to make it as easy and seamless for my supplier. I have done things that no other clients would do. The manager always complements me "wow miscallday12, in my 20 years of doing this job, you are literally the easiest to work with!" Although I have learned this lesson many times during my 6 year business career, this was the final nail in the coffin. I will put my health above all else.

The owner that passed is a famous person that created a big brand and sold it like 20 years ago. Not super famous but a lot of USA people will have heard of him and his main brand that he sold. Very wealthy family. This factory was more of his retirement/passion thing. The son already has businesses and he didn't care for this one no phuks given.

That's all fine and dandy, but it doesn't make any sense that a company would buy another company without any plans to ensure the company they buy will still produce the value that they are paying for it. That part has nothing to do with the son, son. You're leaving something out.

One thing to keep in mind when you run a small business and everything is peachy, is what happens to my business if x leaves the company or gets ill? You need a contingency plan. In this case, x for your company sounds like it was your manufacturer.

You say you don't need Karen being your middle man, but if you can't find a manufacturer for whatever reason and she's got the plugs, then it may be worth it for her to be your distributor.

Sent an inquiry form to the biggest manufacturer of private label products in my industry. They were my first choice when I started this brand. They never responded the first time (brootal) but they did this time! Well I guess it makes sense for them when a new client is already established. Talked to them all day yesterday about details. Overall great manufacturer, a bit expensive compared to my original supplier. Thank you God for staying by me during this turbulent time.

All I know about you is z4v4, SillieBazzillie Alt #z4, Join Date: May 2017, Posts: 33,903, Rep Power: 77364, and a couple condescending posts acting like you are somebody. You are a nobody.

On twitter, there are people in my industry who post their face in their profile pic, full name posted, and their company name. I can easily do a quick search to see if they are real or not. If I need any advice, I can @ them or ask a question in one of their posts and they answer all/most as long as it's not some cookie cutter vague qeustion.

Once again, when asked wtf is wrong with you, you should have just answered, "Business problems have me hating life right now" instead of volunteering details of your business that illustrate you're either incompetent or just a sole-proprietorship trying to impress the misc with your "CEOcelness," as you posted glaring holes to any competent business owner. Neither is a good look, so I get why you don't want anyone pointing those out, but I was doing it in good faith.

As for advice, I didn't expect you to implement any advice you get on a forum without vetting it with a mentor first, duh. Doesn't sound like you have any of those either, though, so that's unfortunate.

Best general advice to running a successful business that I guess would be more misc "appropriate" would be this:




Deepfat: "I guarantee I beat you by at least 6 strokes. Afterwards, I'll slide my thick conservative cawk in your old lady just to finish the job."

z4: "So when are you available in September to play?"

Deep: "On second thought, I don't play golf with broads. You're such a scumbag that I'd be much more inclined to just slap the chit out of you."

z4: "MMA match works, too. So when are you available this month?

Deep: "I won't subject myself to being in the presence of a scumbag."
