Yea I can’t be cooped up next to them while sleeping, too hot and I change positions probably 100x per night. I remember my ex used to always be snuggled up next to me on a big ass bed and I used to push her into the corner in the middle of the night lol.

I'm looking to get a house sometime in 2024 or 2025. Hoping the former, but depends on a lot of things.
When I get a house, I'm ridding myself of my bed and getting a King sized setup, srs. Queen has been great for solo, but sweaty/annoying/frustrating with someone else in there. I'm not even that tall or big, and my GF is short but she tends to sleep diagonally while laying near the center of the whole bed. So annoying. King, or California King is what it takes to better tolerate sleeping with someone.

Traditionally sleeping together in one bed was only a pleb thing. In the middle ages the lords and kings and all the higher ups slept separately from their wives while the plebs slept together because of lack of space.
