Remember when gas was 98 cents a gallon in California? Wiki says it was 99 cents, but I'm certain several gas stations had it lower. I recall as low as 97 cents in some places.

Teen in the 1970s, adult in the 1980s would’ve been GOAT.

Being born in the 1980s,1990s or 2000s ain’t it. Better off being born in 2010 onwards than in the 80s-00s.

Makes me glad to have just worked straight out of high school. Most other early 30's are kind of boned.

Someday? Someday my dream will come? One night you will wake up and discover it never happened. It's all turned around on you. It never will. Suddenly you are old. Didn't happen, and it never will, because you were never going to do it anyway.

Pretty sure you needed to be born in the 70s
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

But you also in your teen years post 9/11 got to see clown world form and by the time you became an adult and graduated college, the world was running on fumes.

A few years into your career total clown world hit and you didn't have enough time to make it.

Think about it, if born in the 80s you would have been able to cream it in a good economy, buy your first house while houses were still cheap, find a wife way easier who wasn't a feminist or had a 4 digit body count etc.

If born in the 00s, you were young enough to know nothing but clown world, you can have teen tranny GF die your hair rainbow colours and march for George Floyd, happy in your own ignorance that you never knew a society which was thriving.

Being born in the 90s you are stuck in between generations with the memories of the good times that are gone, and no ability to adapt to the new clown world.
Son is that you ? quit Being a Twink and Man up ...

Born in 1984 here and it's been great, got to grow up and have my childhood before clown world started, graduated before smartphones and social media, prime clubbing years everyone had a flip phone with no internet access and 50 texts a month so you had to actually talk to people. Still young enough to enjoy all the perks of modern technology and met my wife before tinder and other bs whoring apps existed.
