Sounds like you're not even keeping up with developments in your own country, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act was passed at the end of 2021 and locked in $1.2trillion in infrastructure spending with $110billion of that being just for roads and bridges

The amount of cash sent to Ukraine is a fukn pittance compared to the funding required to fix a substantial portion of roads in the US and is like handing over the change found in your couch cushions compared to the amount of tax revenue generated in the US (over $5trillion last year)
