An overpriced Porsche Cockster? There's loads of better sports cars than that, heck my old Miata is a better sports car than that as it's affordable and about as much fun as you can have driving a car on the streets.

The new Z is pretty ideal. Powerful, good looking, new, fun, and cheap enough to be called affordable as well.

Great option for people who want something fun to drive. Show me a car reviewer who disagrees, I'll wait. It's highly praised as an affordable sports car option since the 2022 refresh.
I think a lot of people just don't have good driving roads around them or something. As someone who has driven all sorts of cars, from powerful muscle cars to Ferraris to basic sports cars, it's usually the basic lightweight sports cars like a Miata or GT86/BRZ that are the most fun.

Like powerful muscle cars are only fun when flooring them down a long straight, exotics are a blast to drive but they are super expensive and you always have to be really careful and responsible with them. When you got something like a Miata or BRZ, it's a lot easier to just push them along and you can sort of hit a limit in them without it being dangerously fast, and that is when driving is most fun.

Sure it looks great, but you can't really appreciate that while driving it. The power is nice, but it's nothing special these days. They're more of a collectors piece than anything else, something to show off at a car show and stare at in a nice garage.

I'm gonna get a 458 (red with cream interior) or an Aventador S in the next 12 months

The GT4 is an awesome car. I was a passenger in my friends one on a track and it handles amazingly.

Personally for the price point, I'd prefer a Ferrari 355 - but that's just because they sound and look aesthetic af.

These were one of the last supercars without any kind of traction and stability control. They were 120k new. People pay 300k+ for them now for the raw driving experience. Maybe a minivan would suit you better?
