I remember loling @ dumb rednecks when I was a kid who would write “the south will rise again” on forums. Usually they were inbreeds talking about the confederacy but in a sense they were absolutely right.
Now I’m kinda bitter watching my home state wither away because of bad leftist policy and pro-criminal DAs. So I’m sitting here yelling “the north will rise again!!!!”
Fuarrrk.
If I had the infinite checkbook and intelligence I would mount a campaign to sabotage the Sunbelt’s economic growth and return it to the Rust Belt. That’s the region that has been wronged the most and deserves this prosperity most.

Everyone is moving to the south it seems. There is more freedom here, greater opportunity. The business climate is more friendly. The weather tends to be easier to live with, though summers can be on the hot side.
In many blue states, it can be tougher to conduct business with high tax rates, more regulations to deal with, higher crime levels, I'm not surprised to read that blue northern states are in decline.

But eventually people will wonder why they are paying $600k for a house so they can sit in traffic for 6 hours per day.
To be honest, I think the Midwest is actually prime for growth right now.
