I got into a huge argument with her about it.

I said that tracking cases is a huge error, cases will fluctuate and they'll close and reopen multiple times. And that we'd be stuck in this cycle for years.

I said that scientists have been working for decades on creating coronavirus vaccines and have utterly failed, there's no way they can create one in such a short timespan. Heck I even said that everybody would get the virus eventually, the polio virus is still floating around everywhere despite everybody being vaccinated against it.

I even called the inflation - all the money being dumped into the economy would cause inflation in the future, presuming lockdowns ever ended.

At least she agreed with me about the masks, she has experience with PPE and knows that cheap masks and even N95 masks are worthless.

I believe Cenk used to be a Republican before he started Young Turks.

I used to love watching his show in 2007, the show was fun to watch it had that public access vibe and they were not as forceful and confrontational on tier left wing bias they used to just have various guests on and let them speak with out overtly slamming their views. Its crazy how extreme they got, I think when they got picked up by MSN and he worked for them it went to his head and then he left and got some investors to toss millions to his show if he pushed hard left views.
