I've seen every genre of music, and Nine Inch Nails puts on the best show by far...
and it's not even close
the drgs were better at Grateful dead shows, but take those drgs to a NIN show...

AC/DC or Def Leppard. Sounded better live.
Maybe Alice Cooper just because of how much of a show he puts on.

Lamb of God and Meshuggah gotta be right up there. Although I haven't seen LOG since Chris Adler (drums) left. Randy has an iron throat his vocals sound as good as ever despite being a heavy smoker the majority of his life. The band is still really tight but miss Adler for sure.
Honorable mention would be Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington and this is coming from a non-Linkin Park fan. This was 1 year or so before Chester took his life there was something about him pouring his soul into the performance. I admire him for taking up the gig despite being in one of the most successful bands of all time. The Deleo brothers are some of the most underrated musicians out there.

Third Eye Blind.
I didn’t plan to see them, my gf at the time woke me up and and said we’ve got to go to Washington Park. Sure enough, it was them, some beer vendors, and a surprisingly small crowd (got bigger later). Chit was wild.
