You're forgetting about all of the generations of Democrat Dindus that don't pay any taxes and just live off of social programs.

Republicans are educated and successful and wealthy too.

In most countries the better off people support the left/socialistic/social justice parties and the working class support the conservatives.

The reason is that the social justice ideas look more appealing to you the further you are away from the world of poverty and crime. Defunding police looks good if you are in a crime free world where you aren't daily exposed to violent criminal predators. Generous welfare looks good if you are living in great comfort, and less so if you are busting your ass to survive and every day see lazy degenerates getting something for nothing. Tolerance of drug addiction and homeless tent cities is more appealing if you never see them in your daily life, less appealing if you are watching your neighborhood go to chit.

Someone has been gassin' you up, boyo. The gap is pretty small. Millions of republicans are on the take, too. Look how many rural people are gettin' dem bennies.
