some management just runs a company into the ground and as happened here stops making payments they are obligated to make into penchant funds.
sometimes the union takes too much and the company can't stay out of the red because of it.
i don't know how striking on a company going out of business does anyone any good but i've seen a strike actually put a small company out of business.
I've also seen strikes improve a workers life without harming the company because they were not greedy.
and finally i've seen unions as just a scheme to make money and generate a lot of BS.
brb can't take a box off a shelf because not in the union at an electronic assembly plant.
brb looking for a union guy to take a box off a shelf.
brb union guy says when he feels like it.
brb pulling my pud for 30 mins. waiting for the parts in the box so i can do my job.....
brb management gives me chit for not assembling X amount of parts.
fuk that never worked anywhere they had a union again.

Also while doing this activating certain trucks strategically so you don't backed up. Some docks have pickers loading trucks, but my warehouse had ultra retards so dock guys would have to do that, otherwise pallets would go in wrong trucks and/or out of order. BRB 8 pallet order that's fifth stop loaded in front of stops 1, 2, 3, and 4.not aweir. wtf do you do? Thought they had a few guys on forklifts in those hubs. How much did you get paid?

My wife's idiot union actually called a strike vote even though they were under contract to try to force the company to make extra contributions to their underfunded pension fund. Fortunately the vote failed.
